Do you take returns or refunds?
Yes, provided that a.) the buyer is willing to pay for both outgoing and return shipping, and b.) items must arrive safely in original condition (no stains, rips, or scent) before a refund is issued. Alternatively, since international shipping is expensive, I can also list the item for you for up to 2 months online at a price of your choosing, provided you agree to ship the item in original condition promptly to the new buyer.

What happens if the item is not as described?
This is unlikely to happen as I personally check each item before packing, but if I've missed anything please email me immediately and I will gladly offer a refund proportionate to the damage. Please note that a.) any defects should be reported within a week of receipt, and b.) I reserve the right to ask for pictures of the damage in order to assess it.

When will my package arrive?
I ship from Singapore, and international mail usually takes 6-14 working days. To see an estimate for transit times to your country, please see the airmail column at www.singpost.com/send-documentparcel/postage-rates/53-personal/send-documentparcel/273.html

Will I get a tracking number? What if the parcel is lost?
All purchases worth over USD40 in a single shipment are automatically tracked and I will email you with the tracking number. As it is not cost efficient to track lower-value packages, I only add tracking for packages under USD30 if they are being sent to countries with reported customs delays e.g. Brazil or Italy. Rest assured that if your parcel does not arrive within 3-4 weeks, I will contact the post office and if the item is lost, you will receive a full refund.

Where do your items come from? Are they authentic?
Really, all over the place ... I scout for inventory at vintage boutiques, flea markets, thrift stores, outlet malls, retail stores having sales ... however, I don't get items direct from manufacturers or factories, all items are purchased retail. Also, I NEVER sell fake goods. All brand name products in my store are guaranteed authentic and only purchased from reputable US retail stores, even though I've now relocated my inventory to Singapore.

Which country's sizing chart do you use?
All products are listed using US sizing. However, every brand sizes differently so I measure all garments personally ... if in doubt always check the measurements in inches or email me if you're wondering about stretch, fit etc.

I bought one item and am still browsing, will you hold my purchase for combined shipping?
YES! :D By default I wait for 3 days before sending a payment reminder. However, if you are still browsing, I will gladly wait for payment for up to 2 weeks before consolidating your purchase. Simply email me to let me know and I will send you an invoice with your total once you let me know you're done. Do note that I will quote you the combined shipping rate for multiple item shipments; however, since Singapore Post doesn't do flat rate envelopes, the savings may not be that much ... :(

Your store is named Shoesandsealingwax but where are the shoes and antiquated stationery?
The store name comes from Lewis Carroll's Jabberwocky: "The time has come," the Walrus said, "To talk of many things: Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax-- Of cabbages--and kings-- And why the sea is boiling hot-- And whether pigs have wings." It's my streak of defiant whimsy coming out and rejecting a sensible, SEO-friendly name. Also, I do like shoes. And pen and ink and paper. :)
